I've always wanted to do one of these things!
For some reason I had saved wips of my painting,
The Reluctant King To Be, so I decided to put them together and make a little progress/wip thing. I also made this to try to encourage others who are trying to start painting. What I learned from working on this was that the sketch or blocking of the painting doesn't have to be perfect. When I try to paint I will usually give up within the first few seconds as I realize my blocking or sketch is awful. Don't be discouraged, you have plenty of time to redefine features, and don't be afraid to mess around and follow your gut.
