Grystripe: What no O.0
Good shading. You get a sense of power, yet also docility out of his eyes and posture. When I was younger I didn't like Graystripe that much. He was so-so. Then I started rereading the first generation, and read the final book in the series, and for some reason I like him a lot more now. He's a dependable friend, though he doesn't always make good decisions. He is loyal to the end, and I suppose his flaws help as well. Since there are so many characters, we learn little about most or they seem kind of flat and sometimes Mary Sue-ish. Graystripe had his struggles but it paid off in the end...plus he's funny. I find most of the characters tremendously serious. Even when they're trying to make a humorous scene, it didn't pull off a lot of the time. But I'm just picky.
Thanks! I was the same way, but he eventually grew on me as the series progressed, but then he vanished and met Millie and I started to greatly dislike him. I totally agree! There just seems to be random characters running around and before you know it we're told they've been killed in some shape or form which feels extremely awkward because we were given no real reason to care about them to begin with, thus describing they're death seems rather pointless and exaggerates their flatness. Haha yeah! XD They'll make some dumb remark about fox dung and it feels extremely out of place amongst the serious war torn cats
It feels as though you're up there lounging with him :L
I still think he could had been fluffier
I don't know, if he was any fluffier we might die from overfluffiness exposure. XD
Oh yeah, your speedpaint video was immensely entertaining. It really shows you how much works goes into these drawings (well, it shows you some of it anyway).
I'm happy that you enjoyed it! I wish I could had recorded the entire process. Despite wanting to do whole speed paints in the past, I never could because usually when I begin something I don't know whether I am going to keep it or not. The finishing touches were done over a period of several days at extreme random whilst multi-tasking so it was difficult to record
Yeah, it's so cool to see how it started out, then changed and evolved into the almost-finished project.
Ah I see, and I guess it would be rather difficult to include the little additions if you were to record them as well because then you'd have to edit those into the main vid and that might prove rather difficult/tedious, right?
itīs Wow!! the eyes!! O_O
I was wondering whether the eyes were too underdone, so I am happy to hear that you like it!
its lovely - great proportions, plus the texture and light is just.... perfect?
Perfect seems like to imperfect a word....
